Food Logger Revamp: Early Preview

• Added a new recipe viewer to enable you to easily reference your recipe description and preparation steps. To access the recipe viewer, swipe from right to left on any tile under “Recipes” and tap “Prepare”. If your recipe does not have a description or preparation steps, you can add them by editing your recipe. 
• Fixed issue with tapping the first item of custom foods
• Dialog to create a custom food for an unknown barcode will now lead you to the food creator that corresponds with your version of the food logger

Community Notes:

The release will gradually roll out to devices. It will take 1-7 days for the update to make it to everyone. On iOS, after 1 day, any user should be able to manually initiate the update from the App Store.If you have not already opted into the new experiences, here is how you can do so:

Opt in to early preview for the food logger:

1. Tap on the person icon in the top right corner of the Dashboard to go to More/Settings
2. Scroll down to “Early Preview” under Feature Settings
3. Opt in to the early preview and confirm when dialog shows up

Opt in to the improved food logger database:

1. Tap on the person icon in the top right corner of the Dashboard to go to More/Settings
2. Scroll down to “Food Logger” under Feature Settings and tap it
3. Scroll down to “Food Search Database”
4. Tap “Standard” and then navigate away from the page
